The First Church of God in Jamestown recently hosted its “Love Thy Neighbor” family fun fair.

The fair became an opportunity to introduce the new pastor of the church, Mike Smith, to the neighborhood. Children and adults got their faces painted, listened to live music, played a variety of games and won prizes, explored the city’s new fire truck, visited with firemen and police officers, and had lunch provided by the church and its members.

The congregation would like to give a special thanks to their member Joshua Park for inviting Mayor Eddie Sundquist, and both the Jamestown Fire and Police departments.

The church congregation is very excited to plan more events in the near future, such as, trunk or treating and making “Love Thy Neighbor” family fun fair an annual event. The church is located at 291 Falconer St., Jamestown.
