Musician 1st Class Vincent Moody, a State University at Fredonia and Fredonia School of Music alumnus, will be participating in an online music exchange with the Fredonia School of Music today.

Moody has served in the Navy for 16 years and is serving in Japan with the U.S. 7th Fleet Band. Moody joined the Navy to gain unique life experience through traveling and performing music all over the world.

“To serve in the 7th Fleet Band means I have the opportunity to be a part of history through music and community outreach,” Moody said. Fredonia Summer Band Camp will keep the music going this summer with this free online experience, including a series of 50-minute Zoom sessions with Fredonia music faculty and esteemed alums, as well as free 30-minute online lessons with Fredonia music faculty (limited availability).
