Students Help Field Renovation

Students enrolled in the Conservation program at the Hewes Educational Center recently participated in the Ashville Baseball Field Renovation Project. Students volunteered their time to makeover the baselines, home plate and pitcher’s mound. All of the baselines were re-established and edged, and all overgrown sod was removed. Students also laid new ball field sand for the baselines, the pitcher’s mound and the home plate areas. Pictured are Marcus Taylor (Maple Grove), Rion Martin (CLCS), Blane Thomas (CLCS).
