The Mozart Club enjoyed an afternoon of Christmas music by the Mozart Chorus under the direction of Merrillie Schmidt at the Berlinger Chapel, First Presbyterian Church on Dec. 12. The presentation, “Yuletide is Here,” included some little known carols such as “By Candlelight,” “Swedish Dance Carol,” and “Slumber Still” as well as traditional Christmas carols. Linda Carlson played the flute to accompany “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” and a flute solo arrangement “We Three Kings.” A luncheon was served to end the festivities. The next meeting of the Mozart Club will be on Feb. 13 at the Marvin Community House beginning at 1:30 p.m.
