Stenta Running For Charlotte Town Clerk
Jennifer Stenta is running for Charlotte town clerk in the Nov. 7 election.
Stenta is the daughter of Dick and Zoanne Shields, wife of Greg Stenta and mother of Meghan and Mikaela Rearick. She has been a resident of the local area for most of her life and has chosen to raise her daughters in Charlotte. She is a Cassadaga Valley Central School graduate.
Stenta said she has worked in customer service on many different levels and varied capacities throughout her employment career.
“The one thing those positions have had in common is they have allowed me the ability to help people which has always brought me joy and a positive sense of accomplishment,” Stenta said. “The opportunity to be town clerk for the town of Charlotte would mean so much more to me than “just another job”; it is not simply keeping accurate records and paying the bills for our town. I am looking forward to helping bring unity back to our community while building strong relationships with our residents through my service and our shared interactions. I feel my cheerful personality, integrity, attention to detail and hard work ethic will all be assets in this new endeavor.”
Stenta serves as a trustee on the Sinclairville Village Board and is an active member of the Park United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoys quilting, baking cupcakes, doing home improvement projects, flower gardening and having tea with friends.
