Neighborhood Backpack Giveaway Held

Pilgrim Memorial and First Congregational UCC, 70 McKinley Ave., Jamestown, held a neighborhood backpack and school supplies giveaway recently, giving away 50 backpacks with supplies in a half hour. Church officials said they hope the giveaway becomes an annual event.
