Panama Central School Announces Students Of The Month

PANAMA – Panama Central School officials recently released the school’s Students of the Third Quarter. They are:

Carson Heimburg, seventh grade and the son of Dayne and Stephanie Heimburg of Ashville. He enjoys football, tennis and basketball. Carson’s favorite subject is math, favorite musical group is Drake and his favorite TV show is Sportscenter. He plays in the school band.

Braden Cook, eighth grade and the son of Pat and Kristy Catanese and Brett and Sarah Cook of Panama. Braden’s favorite subject is English, favorite music group is Fall Out Boy and his favorite TV show is Blue Bloods. Braden enjoys football, baseball, basketball, hunting, four-wheeling and snowmobiling. He belongs to the band, Middle School Student Council, Panama United Methodist Church youth group and the IMPACT club.

Liz Comstock, ninth grade and the daughter of Chris and Dawn Comstock of Panama. Liz enjoys playing basketball, softball and her flute. She has participated in flute and vocal solos for NYSSMA and the All-County Band at Chautauqua Institution. She is also active in Chautauqua County 4-H. Her favorite subject in school is biology, her favorite music groups are Toby Mac and the Band Perry and her favorite TV shows are Scorpion, Quantico and Fixer Upper. Liz has participated in three school musicals, she participates in IMPACT club and the Student Council, is president of the Harmony Haystackers 4-H club, is a teen representative on the 4-H Hog Committee and is a 4-H teen ambassador.

Clayton Manwaring, 10th grade and the son of Bryan and Bridget Manwaring of Panama. Clayton’s favorite subject is math, he enjoys country music and the TV show How It’s Made. Clayton enjoys fishing, hunting, track and swimming.

Erin Fransen, 11th grade and the daughter of Eric and Jennifer Fransen of Ashville. Erin’s favorite subject is English, her favorite musician is Tim McGraw and her favorite TV show is the Big Bang Theory. She belongs to the Tiffany Wakeley Academy of Dance, enjoys playing basketball and being with friends and family. She belongs to the National Honor Society and Student Council.

Natalie Torres, 12th grade and the daughter of Thomas and Vicki Torres of Panama. Natalie’s favorite subject is math, her favorite musician is Justin B and her favorite TV show is The Office. She enjoys volleyball, softball, music and the school musical, family and friends. Natalie is on the Student Council and National Honor Society.
