Tree Collection To Start Monday In City

The City of Jamestown Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department announces that, beginning Monday, weather permitting, Parks Department crews will conduct their annual pickup of discarded Christmas trees for recycling.

Residents are asked to place their trees on the terrace between the street and the sidewalk. If possible, trees should be positioned so they remain visible in the event of significant snowfall.

All trees must be free of plastic bags, Christmas lights, ornaments, and tree stands prior to pickup.

Randolph School Board Meeting Set For Jan. 7

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School District Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. in the High School Library. The public is welcome to attend.
