City Planning Commission To Gather Today

Watts Flats Church To Host Chicken And Biscuit Dinner

BLOCKVILLE – The Watts Flats United Methodist Church, 866 Blockville-Watts Flats Road, will host a chicken and biscuit dinner with desserts on Wednesday, May 21, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.. The dinner will cost $10 with all proceeds to benefit the church.

Antique Car Club To Meet Wednesday

FLUVANNA – The CLRAACA will have its monthly general meeting on Wednesday, May 21, at the War Vets Recreation Club in Fluvanna. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Anyone with an interest in antique automobiles is welcome to attend.

Jamestown School Board To Meet Wednesday

The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the boardroom of the administration building, 197 Martin Road. The public is welcome to attend.

JLDC Cancels May 21 Meeting

The Jamestown Local Development Corporation meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May, 21, has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items. The next meeting will be at the regularly scheduled time on Wednesday, June 18. For more information, call Crystal Surdyk, city development director, at 483-7659.

Cassadaga Valley School Board To Meet

SINCLAIRVILLE – The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Wednesday, May 21, at 6 p.m. in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room and via Zoom at zoom.us/j/95237387537. The public is welcome to attend.

Telescope Training Is Thursday At Cassadaga Library

CASSADAGA – On Thursday, May 22, at 7 p.m. the Martz-Kohl Observatory will present a telescope training at the Cassadaga Branch of the Seymour Library, 18 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. The telescopes, donated to both the Stockton and Cassadaga branches of the Mary E. Seymour Memorial Free Library by the observatory, are available for check out. This is the second free, public event offered by the partnership of the library and the observatory.

Frewsburg School Board To Meet

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Central Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the middle-high school library. The public is welcome to attend.
