Car Club To Hold Monthly Meeting

The CLRAACA will have its monthly general meeting on Wednesday at the War Vets Recreation Club in Fluvanna. Tom DiZenno of the Sheriff’s Department will speak about scams and about homicides. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Those attending do not have to own an antique auto to attend. Anyone with an interest in cars is welcome.

Zentangle Class To Be Offered

SINCLAIRVILLE — A Basic Zentangle class with Brenda Nickerson will be offered at the Sinclairville Free Library on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Registration is required by calling 716-962-5885 or by emailing info@sinclairvillelibrary.org. All materials will be provided for participants to learn the Zentangle method of drawing. This is a way to create images by drawing structured patterns called tangles. The class is for both beginners and those who are already familiar with the drawing method. TEA Party To Feaure Speakers

Brian Abram and Luz E. Torres of the Chautauqua County Board of Elections will be featured at the general meeting of Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road. They will discuss concerns about proper voting and recent concerns covered in The Post-Journal regarding election intergirty and voter rolls. Also a representative of NYAudit will also be making a report on the work being done to keep the election process accountable. Those coming will be hearing about the ballot initiatives for the state and and Mike Dee’s State of the Union.

Board Of Trustees Meeting Set For Oct. 24

BUSTI –The trustees for the Hazeltine Public Library will meet at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the library, 891 Busti Sugar Grove Road, Busti. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. More information is available by calling the library at 716-487-1281.

County Ethics Board To Meet

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in room 149 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. MAYVILLE — Members of the Chautauqua Lake Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the secondary library at Chautauqua Lake Central School.

Medicare Consultations To Be Offered

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Farman Library and Rebecca Poynton will be hosting appointment only meetings on Oct. 26 to consult on specific Medicare benefits analysis. Poynton is a senior health insurance advisor affiliated with Maust and Leone Medicare Advisors, specializing in helping people through the process of applying for original Medicare and consulting on Medicare plans that work best for individual needs.
