Chalk Contest Is This Saturday In Frewsburg
FREWSBURG — Myers Memorial Library, 6 Falconer St., Frewsburg, is holding its annual chalk contest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The theme this year is “Once Upon a Time.” The cost for a square is $5. Hot dogs and drinks will be available to buy for artists and those coming to see the artwork. Awards will take place at 2 p.m. There will be prizes for the winners in four different categories: best adult artwork, best teen artwork, best child artwork and people’s choice. Southwestern Classes To Hold 40th Reunion
Southwestern Central School Classes of 1982, 1983 and 1984 will hold a 40th reunion from 5-11 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Celoron Moose Club. The cost is $25 per person. Call Kathy Sullivan at 716-969-7929 to sign up.

County Ethics Board Meets

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, in room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. Current members of the board are John Hamels, Diane Hannum, John Marengo, Darlene Nygren and Stephanie Stevens.
United Senior Council Meets July 13

Ross Mills Church Hosting Free Camping Event July 7-8
FALCONER — Ross Mills Church, 3843 E. Ross Mills Road, Falconer, will host a free camping event July 7-8 at the church pavilion. Set up will be from 2 to 6 p.m. July 7. The family friendly event will include food, camp fires and music. Those who don’t want to spend the night can attend Friday, July 7, after 6 p.m. and come back July 7 for a free pancake breakfast and prayer and music with special guests Sarah Ritson, Steve and Barbara Lonsky and Christian rap artist Jk.A from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be activities for all ages.
