FALCONER — Art students in Aleida Foulk’s Advanced Art and Drawing and Painting classes at Falconer Central School are displaying their works at the Falconer Public Library, 101 W. Main St., Falconer for the month of April.
School Board Of Education To Hold Meeting Today
PANAMA — The Panama Central School Board of Education will hold a work session board meeting today at 5:30 p.m. in the board room. The meeting is open to the public.
Open Mic Poetry Night On Monday
FREWSBURG — In celebration of National Poetry Night, the Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg will hold an open mic poetry night on Monday. Come read a favorite poem, share an original piece or attend to listen. Poems do not need to be memorized. Light refreshments, coffee and hot chocolate will be available. The event begins at 7 p.m.

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria located at Maple Grove Middle-High School, 3980 Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point. The public is welcome to attend.
Historical Society To Open 2023 Program April 18
BLOCKVILLE — The Harmony Historical Society will open its 2023 program year at 6 p.m. April 18 at the Harmony-North Harmony History Center on the Harmony Historical Society campus at 1943 Open Meadows Road, Ashville. The guest speaker will be Ashville General Store owner Jackie Francis. Light refreshments will be available.
Golden Agers To Gather April 18
LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the Lakewood Legion for a spring lunch. Reservations have already been made. The group will have a speaker at the May 16 meeting at 1 p.m.

Signing
Event With Author
Walt Pickut
On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Fenton History Center will host a book signing by author Walt Pickut. Pickut’s book, The First Counterspy, is the untold story of the FBI’s first counterespionage case against the Soviet Union and a story of the life of Larry Haas. The event will be held at the Fenton Mansion and is free and open to the public.
