Professionals Group To Meet Thursday In Dunkirk
DUNKIRK – The CHQ Professionals Group, in partnership with the Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club, will host its annual Jingle at the Rocks event on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The holiday-themed gathering will bring together professionals from across Chautauqua County for an evening of networking, entertainment, and seasonal cheer for a good cause. The event is open to ages 21 and older and will benefit Toys for Tots. Admission is $10 with a new unwrapped toy or $20 without a toy. Attendees can enjoy music, appetizers, raffles, and an Ugly Sweater Contest. National Guard Soldiers Earn Promotions
Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership. Dana Smith from Lakewood, assigned to the Headquarters and Special Troops Battalion, 369th Combat Sustainment Brigade, received a promotion to the rank of sergeant first class. Melissa Tubbs from Findley Lake, assigned to the Alpha Company, 642nd Aviation Support Battalion, received a promotion to the rank of specialist.
