YMCA Holds Inaugural Awards Luncheon

The Jamestown Area YMCA held its' inaugural awards and luncheon banquet, with the central and unifying theme being "Acknowledging All You Do," at the Jamestown Area YMCA's Teen Center on Aug. 30.The awards luncheon replaced the Y's Annual Awards Dinner for 2016 and was well attended by the awardees, their families, friends, YMCA staff and YMCA supporters.Banquet attendees we're treated to a buffet style lunch. It was referred to as the new Y.M.C.A. because their earlier building had been built at the corner of East Second Street and Prendergast Avenue in 1900.
