Samuel and Victoria Sena Sr. of Jamestown celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on October 29, 2025.
They are the parents of Richard (Carol) Sena of Ashville, Diane Sena of Ridgefield, Conn., and Samuel (Christine) Sena Jr. of Butler, Pa. They also have eight grandchildren: Dr. Maria Sena, Atty Luciana (Skyler) Liddell, Gina (Juan Mendoza) Sena, Anna (Gabriel) Cavallaro, Juliana and Alden Guzy, Alex (Taylor) Sena, and Kyle Sena. They are also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Francis Liddell and Giada Mendoza.
Samuel Sena and the former Victoria Yanik were married on October 29, 1955, in St. John’s Catholic Church. A veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea, Sena is retired from MRC SKF. Mrs. Sena had been employed by the former Jamestown Telephone Co. They were owners and operators of Sena’s Station Bakery, home of the “original pizza sandwich.” Mr. Sena also ran Sena’s Sharpening Services for many years.
