Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West recently announced its Small School boys golf all-star teams. The Southern Tier Scholastic Trap League wrapped up this week. Chautauqua Lake won the West Conference with a score of 961 and Ellicottville won the Central Conference with a score of 1,007. Southwestern was second in the West Conference with a score of 923, followed by Panama (917), Clymer (906), Sherman (902), Falconer (841), Frewsburg (836), Westfield (825), Cassadaga Valley (769), Brocton (660) and Maple Grove (618). CASSADAGA — Brad Kelly recorded his first-ever hole-in-one last Thursday at Cassadaga Country Club. Using his 7-iron, Kelly aced the 172-yard 17th hole. The shot was witnessed by Nick Krupa, Tom McQuiggan and Steve Wintersteen.

Julian Ocasio scored 12 points to lead Fredonia past Frewsburg 44-35 in Unified basketball Thursday. Austin Duliba added 10 points while Louie Gugino and Luke McKnatt each scored 6. Lumia earns top seed in 400 hurdles at ECICs

EAST AURORA — Jamestown sophomore Beckett Lumia earned the top seed in the 400-meter hurdles at the Erie County Interscholastic Conference Track & Field championships this morning after running a top preliminary time of 57.55 on Friday at East Aurora High School. Lumia is seeded over 0.5 seconds faster than Orchard Park senior Andrew Fuentes at 58.10 and Williamsville North sophomore Ryan Kathman at 58.22.
