Eppehimer Open held at Maplehurst CC

LAKEWOOD -- The 34th annual Eppehimer Open was held at Maplehurst County Club and the first-place winner with an 18-under par 52 was the team of Jim Marzalen, Todd Marzalen, Ricky Hooks and Chad Swan.
The team of Gabe Cavallaro, Jordan Crabtree, Tommy Liuzzo and Carl Liuzzo finished second with a 16-under par 54. Third place with a 14-under par 56 was the team of Duncan Okeshak, Tim Wares, Tyler Kempton and Jon DeAngelo
Cavallaro was the winner of the longest drive; closest-to-the-pin went to Jim Andrews and Corey Hartweg; the-closest-to-the-line winner was Oleshak; and the longest drive opposite hand went to Mike Martin.
The event helped to raise money for LOVE Inc. (Love in the Name of Christ). Many area businesses helped to sponsor the outing, including Honest Johns Pizza, Wings and Subs, United Industries Inc., Tim Eckstrom, Cattaraugus County Bank, Roto Rooter, Lind Funeral Home, Valentine Enterprises, 3 C’s Catering, Hair Port Salon, Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Jerry Costantini, Maplehurst Country Club, The Main Landing, Frewsburger Pizza Shop and the William Farr Agency of Allstate Insurance Company.
Dan Swenson gave a short devotional during dinner.
