CHAUTAUQUA — The perfect weather continued Friday for the final round of the NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Golf National Championships, hosted by Jamestown Community College at Chautauqua Golf Club. On the women's side, it was a local product making the Jayhawks proud as Cadence Rodgers of Bemus Point shot a season-best round of 93 to earn the All-American flag for her 17th-place finish. Jamestown Area Soap Box Derby set for Saturday

The 41st annual Jamestown Area Soap Box Derby will be held Saturday at the John S. Sinatra Track, located outside Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park in Jamestown. The derby, which will start at 9 a.m., will feature drivers in the Stock, Super Stock and Masters divisions.
