To The Reader’s Forum: In our county, on our roads and at our religious services, there are people we see or know whose budget is stretched tight. Maybe they’ve had one of those injuries that mean you have to find a different kind of job, or maybe they have a family member with a chronic illness. To The Reader’s Forum: I was reading in The Post-Journal on a recent trip back home that the old Chautauqua Hardware was going to be converted into low income housing. Well as I read the article I noticed something no one has commented on and I find that odd. Buffalo Grill History Should Be Preserved

To The Reader’s Forum: The Buffalo Grill sits abandoned and condemned on the corner of Buffalo and East Second Streets. Close on the Buffalo Street side is one of Jamestown’s historical markers. The Buffalo Grill was built in 1826 by Darius and John Dexter as a stage coach stop on the Buffalo to Pittsburgh route. This is the oldest building in Jamestown.
