Historical Society Giving Presentation Tonight MAYVILLE – Thursday at 7 p.m. Wendy Lewellen will be giving the Chautauqua Town Historical Society’s November talk. Lewellen is secretary of Chautauqua Rails to Trails and author of Good Soles: Chautauqua Rails to Trails, Namesakes and Trailblazers. Lewellen will touch on the history of trails in the area, and discuss the development of the CR2T system over the past 30 years. Most of the system’s segments are named for individuals. COI Employees Raise Money For Food Pantries Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. employees have donated a total of $2,600 to support eight local food pantries across Chautauqua County. Each pantry - including Chautauqua County Rural Ministry in Dunkirk, Twice Fed Food Pantry in Cherry Creek, Northside Food Pantry in Jamestown, Panama United Methodist Church, and food pantries in Sinclairville, Westfield, Mayville, and Forestville - received $325 to help provide food for community members in need. Fenton History Center To Host Craft Fair Saturday The Fenton History Center is hosting its Fenton Holiday Craft Fair, a holiday craft show throughout the historic mansion, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
