Kindberg, Pitt Club Team Lose In National Semifinals
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The University of Pittsburgh’s run in the National Club Basketball Association Final Four ended in the semifinals Saturday night.
The previously unbeaten Panthers (18-1), coached by Jamestown native Luke Kindberg, fell to East Carolina, 88-78, at Indiana University-South Bend.
In the other semifinal, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville knocked off Georgetown, 78-63. East Carolina and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville will square off in the championship game, which is scheduled for noon today.
