The Jamestown Police Department has advised Jamestown Community College staff of an alleged sexual assault that reportedly occurred early today in one of the college residence halls.

The department is actively investigating this allegation and the college is cooperating fully with the investigation. College officials said the college will also investigate any allegation of student misconduct.
