The milestone event will be held at the iconic Edison Ballroom to honor distinguished supporters John Tighe, Mary Perry, and John Mara, Jr. whose unwavering commitment to ASASNY’s mission has helped fuel vital programming that supports thousands of students across the city. For three decades, ASASNY has provided free, comprehensive after-school and summer programs to bridge the opportunity gap for youth in high-poverty communities. With a focus on academic readiness, health and wellness, STEM, arts, and career exploration, the organization empowers students to succeed in school and beyond, fostering confidence, resilience, and lifelong success.

In 2023 alone, After-School All-Stars served over 150,000 students nationwide, with 91% of participants identifying as youth of color and 90% qualifying for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. In New York City, ASASNY serves 2,500 students across 14 school-based sites, reaching young people in all five boroughs with programs that offer affirming, inspiring environments where students explore their passions and build bright futures.
