CHAUTAUQUA – A Mayville woman has been arrested for allegedly leaving a pet in a hot vehicle. On Thursday at about 2:20 p.m. Sheriff's Deputies responded to Elmwood Road in the Town of Chautauqua for a report of a dog that was left in a vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies observed a dog that appeared to be very weak and dehydrated and was being attended to by residents of the community. Kathy Hochul Wednesday announced executed contracts for 26 large-scale, land based renewable energy projects. Among the projects listed includes South Ripley Solar project as well as the York Run Solar Project. The South Ripley Solar Project is a 270-megawatt solar project in Ripley, while the York Run Solar Project is a 90-megawatt solar project in Busti and Kiantone.
