Hossler needs win at Wyndham to reach postseason

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Turns out Jackson Koivun isn't the only player trying to go from college to the PGA Tour postseason. Virginia grad Ben James made eagle on both the par 5s on Thursday and only a soft finish with a pair of bogeys kept from sharing the lead with Beau Hossler in the Wyndham Championship. The final tournament of the regular season determines the top 70 in the FedEx Cup who advance to the postseason. James, the No. 1 player in the PGA Tour University ranking that came with a tour card, has to win to reach the top 70. He was tied for the lead until a ...

Why are Muslim American politicians uniformly Democrats?

Muslim Americans are increasingly getting involved in American politics. Most prominent are members of Congress Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Andre Carson (D-Ind.), and Lateefah Simon (D-Calif.). Most prominent among several mayors is Democrat Zohran Mamdani in New York City. Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, now running for the Senate seat in Michigan, could become the first Muslim in the U.S. Senate. Those Democratic Socialists are shockingly racist

The Democratic Socialists of America use people of color as fashion accessories. Sure, they put black or brown faces on ballots, and they talk a big game about racism. But black and brown voters are not choosing their candidates. The DSA national membership chooses, and it is 85% white. Look at the crowds. In October 2019, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders staged a rally at the Queensbridge housing project, across from Manhattan. Its residents are 47% black, 34% Latino and 10% Asian. News photos showed a nearly unbroken sea of white enthusiasts. The head of the ...
