Barbara Ann Sharp, 83, of Lakewood, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at UPMC Chautauqua.

Born in Titusville, PA on August 20, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle (Walsh) Beauchat.

Before retiring, Barbara was a dedicated middle school teacher with the Ridgway School District, where she touched the lives of countless students. She was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club and cherished spending her winters in Marco Island, FL.

Barbara enjoyed card games, bingo, and time shared with family and friends.

She is survived by her three children: Barry Sharp of Lakewood, NY; Brent (Tracy) Sharp of Oberlin, OH; and Babette (Jeff) Poteet of Naples, FL. She was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren and twelve great‒grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by three brothers: Thomas Beauchat of Gettysburg, PA; Richard Beauchat of Titusville; and her twin brother, Robert Beauchat, also of Titusville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harry Sharp; her sister, Margaret Lapek; and two brothers, Edward and Jack Beauchat.

In keeping with her wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be held. Inurnment will take place at St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Hydetown, PA.
