Galinda, a brand new arrival to Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, is an area stray who was unclaimed by her family. Believed to be 2-3 years old and weighing 45 pounds full-grown, Galinda is thought to be a Shepherd mix. Although she is a little timid and prefers to observe new situations before joining in, she is highly intelligent, knows several commands already, walks nicely on a leash and seems to be house trained. She likes to earn treats and is food-motivated. Those interested can visit the shelter Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield.
