Senske Named To Marvin House Board

Ashley Senske

The Marvin House has added Ashley Senske to its board of directors.

Senske is an archivist, historian, and author with more than 10 years of experience leading cultural heritage projects with museums, libraries, and other non-profit historical institutions. She holds an M.S. in Information Library Sciences from the University at Buffalo. She is certified by the Society of American Archivists as a Digital Archives Specialist, and served for five years as the appointed city historian of Jamestown.

Senske currently serves as the collections manager for the National Comedy Center, where she oversees acquisitions, preservation, research, and exhibition of artifacts from the careers of artists including Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, The Smothers Brothers, Carol Burnett, The Marx Brothers, Carl Reiner, Joan Rivers, Garry Shandling, Jonathan Winters, Harold Ramis, Rodney Dangerfield, and dozens of others.

She is the current chair and trustee of the Collections Committee at the Chautauqua County Historical Society and the chair of the Exhibits Committee for the Board of Directors at the Marvin House.
