Four local runners completed the New York City Marathon last November as part of their collective goal to run the Abbott World Marathon Majors, which include New York City, Boston Chicago, Tokyo, Berlin, London and Sydney, Australia. From the left are Holly Griffith, Judy Porpiglia, Nichelle Carlberg and Sherri McCall. The quartet has been training, traveling and running together to complete the races. The next race that Porpiglia, who already completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2022, Carlberg and McCall will be running is Berlin in September. They are all running under the American Cancer Society charity, Team DetermiNation.
