PANAMA – Panama Central School officials have named the school’s Students of the Third Quarter. They are:

Lilianna Mannarino, seventh grade and the daughter of Ashley Osterstuck of Ashville and Michael Mannarino of Pennsylvania. Lilianna is on the Merit Roll. She is a member of the chorus and Art Club. Lilianna enjoys drawing, painting, listening to music, dance and ballet. Her favorite subjects in school are ELA and art. Her favorite music artist is Kane Brown and favorite TV show is Modern Family.

Leah Boardman, eighth grade and the daughter of Melissa Miller of Jamestown. Leah is an Honor Roll student and is a member of the Art Club. Leah enjoys reading, writing, drawing, poetry and psychology. Her favorite subject in school is math, her favorite TV show is My Little Pony and favorite music group is Will Wood and the Tapeworms.

Kendra Bernik, ninth grade and the daughter of Alison and Joshua Bernik of Panama and Audra Smith of Panama. Kendra is an Honor Roll student and a member of SADD. She is a member of the Panama junior varsity volleyball team and Clymer/Sherman/Panama track team. She is a member of chorus and was in the school musical. Kendra enjoys singing and listening to music. Her favorite subject in school is art, favorite music groups are Paramore and Kendrick Lamar and her favorite TV shows are Bridgerton and h2o just add water.

Kiersten Olson, 10th grade and the daughter of Steve and Theresa Olson of Ashville. She is an Honor Roll student and was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore. Kiersten is a member of the chorus and plays the flute in the school band. She is a member of the Clymer/Sherman/Panama cross country and track teams, plays on the junior varsity girls basketball team and enjoys flag football. She is also a member of Women in Leadership. Kiersten enjoys photography, gymnastics, reading, drawing, writing and working out. Her favorite subject in school is ELA, favorite music artist is Tate McRae and favorite TV show is The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Emma Cooper, 11th grade and the daughter of Steve and Heidi Cooper of Sherman. Emma is an Honor Roll student and a member of National Honor Society, SADD, Women in Leadership and on the Yearbook staff. Emma is a member of the Panama girls volleyball and softball teams. Emma volunteers during the school day with 5&2 and she was on the Prom Court this spring. Emma enjoys painting, hunting, fishing and spending time with her pets. Her favorite subject in school is Production Design (yearbook), favorite music artist is Bailey Zimmerman and favorite TV shows are The Rookie and NCIS.

Ian Heath, 12th grade and the son of Bryan Heath and Cynthia Gedz of Ashville. Ian plays percussion in the school band and is a member of High School Bowl. Ian knows how to write in different languages, can draw chemical equations and knows calligraphy. His favorite subject in school is Chemistry. Ian enjoys listening to classical music and his favorite TV show is The Dragon Prince.
