Harold W. Carson

Harold W. Carson, 80, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday (March 30, 2024) in the Star Hospice House in Lakewood, NY.

A lifelong area resident he was born September 15, 1943 in Jamestown the son of the late William Carson and Inez Cartwright.

Harold attended Southwestern Central School and earlier years was employed by Valeo/Black Stone.

He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, watching cooking shows and epically loved his wife’s cooking. Harold loved old cars, and he was genuine with people and had a caring sense for others.

Surviving are three sons: Todd Carson of Jamestown, Robert (Pam) Carson of Lillington, NC, James (Sandra) Humphreys of Angier, NC. (Susan) Humphreys of Jamestown; eight grandchildren: Nicole Warren, Suzanne Stewart, Chad Humphreys, Ben Humphreys, Jacob Milliman, John Carson, Griffin Carson, Amylea Carson, seven great grandchildren.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son Kevin Humphreys; three brothers: Robert Daud, Bill Carson, Shawn Carson; two sisters: Kathy Strausser and Helen Carson.

Visitation will not be observed.

Inurnment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. June 10 2024 at 10 am
