Sinclairville Free Library Announces Summer Reading Program

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library announces the following “All Together Now” summer reading program events to be held at the library, 15 Main St., Sinclairville.

The Secret Garden Tea Party and Book Club: Monday, July 31, at 6 p.m. The event includes open discussion of The Secret Garden by Frances Hogson Burnett. Tea, mini sandwiches and desserts will be served. The event is designed for those ages 8 and olde.r Seats are limited and reservations are required by calling 716-962-5885.

Community Night featuring Sundance Kids Farm Petting Zoo: Monday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. In addition to hot dogs and snacks there will be special stories starting at 6 p.m.

“Bad Kitty is Kind” creative writing on Thursday, August 10, at 6 p.m. Those ages 8 and up are invited to write their own stories using Nick Bruel’s Bad Kitty character. Writing prompts and all materials will be provided for this writing together activity. Register in advance by calling the library or by emailing info@sinclairvillelibrary.org.

In-person book club on Monday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. to discuss Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica. Online book club meeting on Monday, July 31, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Contact the library to receive the link.
