Two people are accused of causing more than $15,000 worth of damage to a business in downtown Jamestown.
The Jamestown Police Department announced the arrests of 25-year-old Tyisha S. Kaiser and 35-year-old Dakota J. Kaltenbach on charges of third-degree burglary and third- and second-degree criminal mischief.
Officers responded at 9:25 p.m. on Monday to Dugan’s Tavern, 114 E. Second St., for a reported burglary. It was found that forced entry had been made at the rear of the business.
“It was further found that approximately $15,800 in damages were done to the interior of the business,” the department said in a news release.
Kaiser and Kaltenbach were taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. Kaiser was also allegedly found with a “quantity of suspected heroin and methamphetamine,” JPD said. Kaiser was additionally charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both were held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
