Lucille (McCray) Walker
NAALEHU, HAWAII — Lucille (McCray) Walker, 95, passed away in her sleep, June 21,2021.
She was born in Jamestown, on Nov. 13, 1926, to Harold and Loretta (Lilly) McCray.
Lucille graduate high school and nursing school. Following that, she was very proud to serve as a WAVE in the U.S. Navy. While serving, she met and married her husband, Harry Walker, who was also serving the U.S. Navy. They were happily married for 75 years. The lived in New Jersey, New York, Arizona and Hawaii.
Lucille retired from many happy years of nursing. She enjoyed camping at Allegany, garage sales, couponing and crafts.
Lucille is survived by her husband; her sister, Mary Gould; brother, Donald McCray; three children: daughter, Mary (Ted) Stanton, Oceanview, Hawaii, son, Jack (Debbie) Walker Frewsburg and a daughter, Shirley (Jeff) Gibson of Oklahoma City, Okla; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise Crick; and brother, Leroy McCray.
