Doris J. Bloss, 84, of 23 W. 3rd Street, formerly of Fulton Street and Stow, N.Y., died Saturday March 13, 2021, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, P.A.

She was born Aug. 9, 1936, in Chautauqua, N.Y., a daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Ruch Schutt.

Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Holiday Inn as a server in the banquet room.

She was a member of First Covenant Church.

Surviving are three children Rebecca (Vincent) Harzewski of Buffalo, Michael (Wendy) Bloss of Jamestown and Karen (Douglas) James of Thornton, C.O.; seven grandchildren Nicholas and Nathaniel Bloss, Elizabeth Harzewski, and Kathleen, Carl, David and Matthew James; two great grandchildren Megan James and Kyle Little and siblings Helen Reynolds of Sherman, William Schutt of Clymer, John Schutt of Sugar Grove and Gordon Schutt of Benson, A.Z.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Anna Harzewski and two brothers James and Donald Schutt.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
