Reed, Mitrano Debate Issues Of Congressional District 23

U.S. Rep. Tom Reed and Tracy Mitrano

Candidates for the 23rd Congressional District of New York state debated today at The Post-Journal in Jamestown.

The candidates dealt with three questions and closing statement.

The three questions included:

1. Our country is overwhelmingly fractured and divided at this time. Talk about some ways you are hoping to steer — or work — toward some middle ground if elected?

2. For seven months, our world has been gripped by the COVID-19 crisis. What are your thoughts on the handling of the crisis and the stimulus relief efforts for many Americans at this time?

3. There is a major push by President Trump to fill the Supreme Court vacancy. Where do you stand on this issue and what are your beliefs regarding packing the court?
