Hilliker captures Commissioner’s Cup

CHAUTAUQUA — The Wednesday Travel League held its 12th annual Commissioner’s Cup at Chautauqua Golf Club’s Hill Course. The event honors the life and memory of past league Commissioner Bruce “Java” Chrabasz. Dinner and the awards presentation were held at the Dunkirk Falcons Club. Golfers donned orange, brown and white, the colors of the Cleveland Browns, Java’s favorite team Brady Hilliker was this year’s overall champion, edging out last year’s winner Katie Michalak. ORCHARD PARK — The Buffalo Bills are honoring their fans to the north by having the Canadian national anthem performed at their home opener next week, and amid rising cross-border tensions with the United States.
