Golden Cougars pour in 10 against Olean

FALCONER -- Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove celebrated Senior Night with a 10-1 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 girls soccer victory over Olean at Bill Race Field.

Alyssa Howard and Kylie Kress each had two goals and an assist for the Golden Cougars (9-2-1, 6-2-1) while Bella VandeVelde chipped in two goals. Ellyson Baglia, Julianna Roth, Emilee Chapman and Eliana Caldwell each added a goal while Sydnee Snow had two assists and Lily McPherson had one.

Baglia made three saves in the first 50 minutes before moving up and scoring her first goal of the season. Andrea Campbell made a save in the final 30 minutes.

Addison Crosson scored and Alaina Hirliman made 13 saves for the Huskies (0-10-0, 3-10-0).

Seniors honored for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove were: Baglia, Roth, Adri Lombardo, Giada Schauman, Kress, Kenley Lincoln, McPherson and Chapman.

JIMERSON RECORDS HAT TRICK

BROCTON -- Jaden Jimerson netted a hat trick and added an assist as Frewsburg topped Westfield/Brocton 8-0 in Division 3 play at Brocton High School.

Jadyn Trocki had a goal and an assist while Audrey Eckwahl, Gabriella Dumaine, Ava Krofka and Ellie Cappa each chipped in a goal for the Bears (10-3-0, 8-0-0). Charlie Lombardo, Rozlyn Haglund, Ryleigh Eckman and Addison O'Connor each had an assist in the win. Leah Pasieka and Joey Vaughn split five saves in net.

Kylie Post made 16 saves for the Wolverines (4-6-1, 3-5-1).

LUDWIG NETS OVERTIME WINNER

SILVER CREEK -- Eliana Ludwig scored in the 17th minute of overtime as Chautauqua Lake edged Silver Creek/Forestville 3-2 in Division 3 play.

Sidney Cannon scored from Eleanor Pender and Avery Cannon scored from Ludwig in regulation for the Eagles (4-7-1, 3-4-1). Addison Chess made 11 saves in net.

Abby Cook scored from Malayah Eldridge and Samantha Hogg-Timmermann scored from Eliza Mahaney for the Black Knights (8-4-0, 5-3-0). Kendall Strychalski made four saves in net.

SMITH POWERS RANDOLPH

ELLICOTTVILLE -- Serena Smith netted a hat trick and added an assist to lead Randolph to a 4-1 victory over Ellicottville in Division 2 play.

Ella Monroe added a goal and an assist while Erin Little also had an assist for the Cardinals (8-2-0, 7-0-0). Stella Smith and Harper Russell split 10 saves in net.

Juleana Lyon scored from Taylor Perks in the second half for the Eagles (6-5-1, 4-3-0). Ady Andrews made 15 saves in net.

EAGLES EDGE DUNKIRK

NORTH COLLINS -- North Collins beat Dunkirk 3-2 in Division 3 action.

The Eagles improved to 6-5-2 overall and 4-4-0 in the league.

Chianti Lopez had a goal and an assist, Isabella Braxton had a goal, and Natalia Watts had an assist for the Marauders (1-11-0, 0-8-0). Celeste Batista was credited with 20 saves in net.

TONELLI SCORES OT WINNER

FREDONIA -- Cecelia Tonelli scored from Addie Stellrecht in the 13th minute of overtime to send Fredonia past Jamestown 1-0 in Division 1 action at Fredonia State University.

Naomi Muck made four saves en route to the clean sheet for the Hillbillies (9-3-0, 6-3-0).

The Red & Green fell to 3-10-0 overall and 2-8-0 in the league.

DORN SCORES LONE GOAL

CATTARAUGUS -- Anna Dorn's first-half goal from Leigh Spink sent Cattaraugus-Little Valley to a 1-0 Division 2 win over Franklinville.

Lucilyn Conklin made seven saves en route to the clean sheet for the Timberwolves (3-9-1, 3-5-0).

Taylor Chase made one save for the Panthers (2-10-0, 1-7-0).

SENIORS SHINE FOR WARRIORS

SALAMANCA -- All six of Salamanca's seniors scored on Senior Night as the Warriors beat Pine Valley/Gowanda 10-0 in Division 2 action.

Arleigh Chudy had two goals and an assist; Myla Galante had a goal and two assists; Avianna Stahlman, Lily Vogle, Harper Ellis, Addison Earley, Lailee Pierce, Ava Porter and Ireland Fidurko each added a goal; and Delaney Haley and Brielle Massagli each chipped in an assist. Gwyn Emborsky earned the clean sheet in net for Salamanca (9-2-0, 6-1-0).

The Panthers fell to 0-7-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the league.

KOPP CONNECTS IN OT FOR GATORS

ALLEGANY -- Leea Kopp scored from Kennedy Honeck in the second minute of overtime as Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale edged Southwestern 3-2 in Division 1 play.

Kai Wojewoda-Ko scored from Ember DeGroff in the first half before Peyton Truman scored from Wojewoda-Ko in the second half for the Gators (12-1-0, 9-0-0). Kenna MacArthur made six saves in net.

Kenzie Rogers scored from Makenna Johnson 14 minutes into the first half before Marlana Cresanti scored with 12 minutes remaining for the Trojans (6-6-0, 5-4-0). Braelynn Dykstra made eight saves in net.
