Randolph dominates Titans 48-0

FRANKLINVILLE -- Alex Garland reached paydirt three times while rushing for 104 yards on 12 attempts as Randolph trampled past Franklinville/Ellicottville 48-0 in Section VI Class D football action on Friday night.

Davion Johnson and Cole Morris also reached the endzone on the ground with rushes of 20 and 25 yards, respectively. Johnson finished 5 of 6 passing with 82 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Carter Conley for 35 yards and Syrai Johnson for 14 yards.

The Randolph (5-1, 3-0) defense nabbed an interception thanks to Chris Smith.

Franklinville/Ellicottville (2-4, 1-3) was led by Sawyer Miller with four catches for 24 yards and Rylan Benjamin reached the same total on 24 yards. Brenden MacWilliams had 10 total tackles for the Titans defense.

PANTHERS PREVAIL

GOWANDA -- Jayden Fish broke a fourth quarter tie against St. Mary's with a QB sneak that lifted Gowanda/Pine Valley to a 36-30 nonleague victory at Hillis Field.

Fish reached paydirt twice on sneaks, while Reggie Irion carried the brunt of the offensive load with two touchdowns and 208 yards on 11 carries. Zane Rogers added another 150 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and Cayden Redford amassed 113 yards on 18 attempts for Gowanda/Pine Valley (3-3).

The Panthers defense was led by Redford with nine total tackles, Elliott Graham and Isaiah Washington added seven each and Colton Gernatt snagged an interception.

FREDONIA FALLS BEHIND

PORTVILLE -- Portville/Cuba-Rushford/Bolivar-Richburg pulled away from Fredonia for a 37-6 Class C South victory.

After managing a 16-6 lead at halftime, Portville/Cuba-Rushford/Bolivar-Richburg (4-2, 2-2) exploded in the second half with 21 points to secure the 37-6 decision.

Fredonia drops to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the division after the result.

GATORS EDGE WARRIORS IN OT

HINSDALE -- Ryan Callen scored in overtime and Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale's defense stopped Salamanca's responding drive to secure the 28-22 Class C South victory.

Salamanca (2-4, 2-2) led the entire way with touchdowns by Conner Seeley, Remy Follman and Ethan Baxter.

However, Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale (3-3, 2-3) chipped away at the deficit and pulled level to force overtime and another Callen touchdown lifted the Gators to victory.
