Rogers lifts Trojans past Jamestown

Kenzie Rogers scored twice and Southwestern shut down Jamestown for a 3-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 girls soccer victory at the Sirianni Athletic Complex on Thursday.

Marlana Cresanti added a goal and an assist for the Trojans (6-5-0, 5-4-0), while Braelynn Dykstra made five saves for the clean sheet.

Jamestown falls to 2-9-0 overall and 1-7-0 in league.

HILLBILLIES HANG ON

ALLEGANY -- Nora Polhamus set up two goals and Fredonia held off Portville for a 2-1 Division 1 victory at Allegany-Limestone High School.

Cece Tonelli scored in the first half and Callie Draggett's goal in the 53rd minute proved the difference for Fredonia (8-3-0, 5-3-0).

Portville dropped to 5-5-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the league with the loss.

LUDWIG NETS HAT TRICK

DUNKIRK -- Eliana Ludwig scored a hat trick to lift Chautauqua Lake past Dunkirk 3-1 in Division 3 play.

Avery Cannon and Karie Tarr picked up assists for Chautauqua Lake (3-7-1, 2-4-1), while Addison Chess and Addy Lindsay split time in net with three saves each in the win.

Dunkirk falls to 0-10-0 and 0-7-0 in league.

NORTH COLLINS EDGES WOLVERINES

NORTH COLLINS -- North Collins netted three second-half goals to get past Westfield/Brocton 3-2 for a Division 3 win.

North Collins (5-5-2, 3-4-0) received goals from Peyton Teijeira, Hannah Jasinski and Calla Fisher, while Mya Tanis and Mikayla Haskell split time in goal to secure the win.

Westfield/Brocton moves to 3-5-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the division.

CARDINALS ROLL

RANDOLPH -- Elsie Freeman and Serena Smith both scored once and set up two goals as Randolph rolled past Franklinville 5-1 in Division 2 action.

Ava Sears scored twice for Randolph (7-3-0, 6-0-0), Ella Monroe added another and Jade McMaster picked up an assist in the win. Stella Smith made five saves for Randolph and Harper Russell and another two in the victory.

Addison Chamerlain scored from Alexea Hernandez for Franklinville (2-9-0, 1-6-0) and Taylor Chase made 19 saves in goal.
