2 min read

CLYMER -- Gavin Burchanowski scored two rushing touchdowns, passed for two more and returned a punt for another TD, and the defense did the rest as Clymer/Sherman/Panama shut out Cattaraugus-Little Valley 40-0 in a nonleague football game at Clymer High School.

Burchanowski scored on a 68-yard touchdown run on the Wolfpack's first possession and, after C/S/P forced a punt, he returned it 48 yards for another score to boost the lead to 15-0. Johnny Abers' 5-yard TD reception from Burchanowski later in the period boosted the Wolfpack's advantage to 22-0.

"We were looking to start fast and the boys did a great job with that," C/S/P head coach Dave Bodamer said.

The Wolfpack (5-1, 3-1) tallied a touchdown in each of the second, third and fourth quarters -- Burchanowski had a 13-yard run in the second period, Trevor White caught a 10-yard pass from Burchanowski in the third and Abers found paydirt on a 4-yard run in the fourth -- en route to their second shutout of the season.

Dylan Kriner led the defensive effort for the winners with 12 tackles and Bryan Gomez intercepted a pass.

Ny Boswell led the Timberwolves (0-6, 0-3) with 49 yards rushing on seven carries.
