RANDOLPH, SOUTHWESTERN TIE
RANDOLPH -- A pair of second-half goals allowed Southwestern to forge a 2-2 tie with Randolph in a nonleague game.
The Cardinals' Grady Steward found the back of the net twice in the first half, courtesy of assists from Gavin Senn and Tanner Patterson, to stake the hosts to a 2-0 advantage.
But Hunter Kestler and Calvin Gesing both tallied goals after the break -- Benjamin Kidder and Oliver Stump were credited with assists -- to allow the Trojans to leave Cattaraugus County with a tie.
Randy Nottingham made 10 saves for Randolph (5-3-2) and Cooper Charles had three saves for Southwestern (5-3-2).
