WEST ELLICOTT -- Reagan Stutzman had six kills, four aces and two blocks to lead Southwestern past Dunkirk 25-9, 25-18, 25-18 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 volleyball action Tuesday.
Gianna Sirianni added five kills and six aces for the Trojans (4-4, 2-3). Madelyn Burnett had five kills and a block and Elise Kartesz made nine assists.
Dunkirk (0-6, 0-4) was led by Jessica Maines with three kills, three digs and four aces; Shania Jemison provided three kills and two blocks; and Kelsey Lancaster made nine assists.
HILL, JIMERSON LEAD WARRIORS
SALAMANCA -- Charli Rae Hill had seven kills and Joelle Jimerson had 12 assists to lead Salamanca past West Valley/Franklinville 25-14, 25-12, 25-11 in Division 2 action.
The Warriors improved to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the league.
West Valley/Franklinville fell to 0-5 overall and in the league.
PANTHERS SWEEP JAMESTOWN
JAMESTOWN -- Portville swept Jamestown 25-20, 25-22, 25-17 in Division 1 action.
The Panthers improved to 5-2 overall and 5-0 in the league.
Aiyanna Stam had eight kills for the Red & Green (2-3, 2-3).
GOWANDA STARTS QUICKLY VS. CARDINALS
GOWANDA -- Envy Cross had 12 kills to lead Gowanda to a 25-7, 25-17, 25-17 Division 2 sweep of Randolph.
Bella Maines had 25 assists, five digs, two kills and an ace; Evalene John had five aces, five digs and a kill; Lilliana Pierce had eight kills, five blocks, four digs and two aces; and Scarlett John had eight digs, four kills and three aces for the Panthers (7-1, 5-0).
The Cardinals fell to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the league.
