MAYVILLE -- Kelsey Fischer's win at second singles, followed by Natalie David and Gabriella Fisk winning at second doubles allowed Frewsburg/Southwestern to defeat Chautauqua Lake/Maple Grove 3-2 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis Tuesday.
Amelia Matteson-Garza and Emilie Thomas also won at third doubles for Frewsburg/Southwestern.
Eden Ludwig won at first singles while Josie Dawson and Cameron Mackey won at first doubles for Chautauqua Lake/Maple Grove.

FREDONIA TOPS JHS IN DOUBLEHEADER
LAKEWOOD -- Fredonia defeated Jamestown in a doubleheader 4-1 and then 5-0 for a pair of CCAA victories at the Lakewood YMCA.
Charis LaBarr secured two singles victories for Fredonia, while both Amelia Way and Michaela Haas earned a singles win after switching spots in a doubles win with Rosie Manzella. Along with Manzella winning a pair of doubles matches, Delaney Artrip and Finn Proper posted a pair of wins and Alexis Mead and Lilly Stranahan won third doubles of the second match.
Jamestown's only win came in the first match with Annalise Caceres and Sophie Evan at second doubles.

SALAMANCA SWEEPS MARAUDERS
DUNKIRK -- The Salamanca girls tennis team defeated Dunkirk 5-0 on Tuesday to improve to 5-1 overall.
Betsy Leyva won 6-4, 6-4 at first singles while Kurryn Glowacki won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles.
First doubles Sage Huff and Keira Bova won 6-1, 6-0, second doubles Ella Crouse and Brenda Bova-Redeye won 6-0, 6-0, and third doubles Morgan Palmer and Fiona McKune won 6-0, 6-0.

OLEAN SWEEPS COUGARS
SINCLAIRVILLE -- Lina Chauhdry and Natalie Snyder won singles matches to lead Olean to a 5-0 sweep of Cassadaga Valley.
At first doubles, Simran Chahal and Rachael Dulmus won for the Huskies while Natalie Hallett and Gemma Andersen did the same at second doubles for the visitors. Cassadaga Valley forfeited at third doubles.
