FALCONER -- Two first-half goals were just enough in Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove's 2-1 win over Jamestown in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 game at Bill Race Field.
Kylie Kress and Lily McPherson both found the back of the net before intermission, and Eliana Caldwell chipped in an assist for the winners (5-1, 3-1) in support of keeper Ellyson Baglia, who made seven saves.
The Red & Green dropped to 2-5 and 1-4.
'BILLIES FALL
FREDONIA -- Three first-half goals was all Allegany-Limestone needed to post a 3-0 Division 1 win over Fredonia at SUNY Fredonia.
Kai Wojewoda-Ko recorded two goals and Kennedy Honeck chipped in one for the Gators (7-1, 5-0) in support of keepers Kenna MacArthur and Meagan Morgan, who combined for five saves.
Naomi Muck made 14 saves for Fredonia (4-2, 2-2).
