Paddock earns All-American at Fargo

P-J File Photo Chautauqua Lake’s Noli Paddock became an All-American wrestler this weekend after taking second-place in the 2026 Fargo Championships in the 16U 135-pound weight class. FARGO, N.D. -- Noli Paddock certainly made a name for herself at the 2026 Fargo Championships over the weekend.

How does "All-American" sound?

The Chautauqua Lake Central School wrestler, who competed in the 16U 135-pound weight class, captured a second-place finish at the Fargo Dome and will return home with a silver medal.

That's especially impressive considering Paddock entered the three-day tournament unseeded. Undaunted, the three-time New York State place winner and 2026 runner-up, posted a 5-1 record. Three of the victories came against some highly rated opponents, including third-seeded Taylor Ward (two-time state medalist and 2025 women's national U15 All-American); Annabella Nelson (2026 16U Folk National Champion); and Eila Schultz (two-time Colorado State champion), whose tournament journey included a first-round victory over top-seeded Emma Grimes of Pennsylvania, who was ranked 22nd in the nation.

Paddock's lone loss came Saturday night in the final against No. 2 Rain Scott (2026 Illinois state runner-up), who recorded a takedown with 21 seconds remaining to secure a 6-4 decision.
