LAKEWOOD -- Helped by birdies on Nos. 14 and 17, Alex Sullivan shot a 37 for low-gross honors in the Mulligan Mamas Monday Night Ladies League at Maplehurst Country Club.
Other low-gross scores were Mary Green 42, Michelle Koresko 44, Jessica Currie 44, Marcia Derby 44, Ruth Kriese 45, Andrea Waddington 45, Ellen Lehning 45, Julie Falk 45 and Kathy Stedman 46.
Topping the net scores was Amber Lombardo with a 30.
Other low-net scores were Joyce Peterson 31, Ann Yager, Falk 32, Theresa Jackson 33, Karen Coccagnia 33, Pat Weeks 33, Jen Peters 33, Kristy Moore 34, Terri Rettberg 34, Lisa Nelson 34, Jill Allenson 34 and Cheryl Mason 34.
Recording birdies on No. 14 were Weeks, Leda Peterson, Currie and Falk. The other birdie was recorded by Green on No. 12.

CHAUTAUQUA -- Julie Brown's gross 39 and net 27 led the Monday Night Ladies League at Chautauqua Golf Club.
Jill Williams had a net 28.

WARREN, Pa. -- Julie Moyer and Lisa Irwin shot a gross 40 to lead the Ladies Scramble at Jackson Valley Golf Course.
Annie Cerrie and Tammy Johnson were second with a 43.
Tracey Leichtenberger and Amy McMeans led the net scores with a 32 while Sherry Johnson and Kim Johnson had a 33.

WARREN, Pa. -- Rick Gignac and Patrick Henry tied Andy Beardsley and Jon Lord with 21 points to lead the Stableford League at Jackson Valley Golf Course.
Jeff Munksgard and Chet Munksgard had 20 points while Chet Loomis and Mike Moyer had 19 points.
Individually, Jim Grosch, Chet Munksgard and John Weber had 12 points apiece while Beardsley and Henry had 11 points apiece.

FREDONIA -- At their July 17 outing, the Friday Night Couples League at the Vineyards Golf Course departed from its usual four-person scramble as 17 couples took on the fun and challenging game of Booster Golf.
Booster Golf is an on-course card game promoted on its website to make golf "fun again" because "golf takes itself too seriously." The game can be played in several formats, and the Couples League version gave each couple a blind-draw packet of nine sealed envelopes, each containing a playing card. At every hole, the couples opened one envelope to reveal a challenge for that hole. With 100 interactive cards available, some couples may have faced similar tasks, but no two packets were exactly alike. Examples of some of the challenges included were putting one-handed, kicking the ball on the second shot, adding or subtracting yardage and strokes, and using the worst drive. Booster Golf made the evening interesting, maddening and entertaining, depending, as in any card game, on the luck of the draw.
At the end of the game, Barry and Cathe Kilpatrick, Rick and Sarah Kirchenwitz, and Pete and Amanda Krakowiak tied for the evening's lowest score with a 31. Rich and Pam Hofer finished with a 33, while Joe and Antonett Charletta tied Larry and Judy Ebersole with a 34.
Rick Kirchenwitz won closest to the pin on No. 5.

Terry English, Mark Owen and Mark Silvis tied for low gross this week with 38s while Ike Borland had the low net with a 29.
English and Owen each made a pair of birdies while Curvin Johnson, Dick Davis, Bryan Moldovan, Jeff Carlson, Bruce Swanson, Terry Sedon, Jim Fitch, Keith Bertch, Dennis Stewart and Chuck Barrett each made one.

RUSSELL, Pa. -- Mike's Townline has 186.5 points to lead the Eastern Division while Lion's Gate Wealth's 174.5 points leads the Western Division after Week 10 of the Senior Men's League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Litehouse Auto is second in the Eastern Division with 172 points, followed by Olde Duffers (164), Warren Tire (161), Maple Place Farms (159), Huber Paving (156.5) and Cable Hollow (150).
In the Western Division, Townline Auto is second with 172 points, followed by Cable Hollow 2.0 (169), Chili's Dippers (148), Falconer/Frewsburg (146), NAPA Auto Parts (126.5) and Agricultural Logistics (112.5).
Arthur Stewart fired the low gross with a 36 while Rick Setili, Terry Jackson and Paul Edson had net 28s. Ken Haley, Jackson, Bill Bowler and Bruce Macey accumulated 8.5 points apiece. Dave Garey, Art Ward, Dave Gayton and Dave Youngren each made two birdies. Bowler leads the season points standings with 50.5.
