The Affinity One Credit Union Blue Jays captured the City Rec League baseball championship following a 6-3 win over the Mets. Leading the way for the winners was Alex Erickson, who smacked a home run and a triple. Chandler DeVlieger added two hits, including a double; Josephine Satterlee had a double; and Branson Pastorchik and Maddie Martin each collected a single and scored a run. For the Mets, Oliver Glover (double) had two hits, and Josiah Tapia and Jack Breen both doubled. The Blue Jays finished the season with an 18-1 record, and won both the regular-season title and the league championship.
