10U TRAVEL BASEBALL

The Lakewood Gladiators improved their Premier League record to 5-0 are are 6-5 overall after a 15-1 victory over the Tri County Tornadoes (0-8).

Starting and winning pitcher Conley Green (Ashville) allowed no hits and struck out four. Easton Smith (Frewsburg) closed out the win, allowing no hits and striking out six. Green led the offense for Lakewood, collecting two hits and four RBIs while scoring two runs. Theo Melquist (Frewsburg) had two hits, including a triple; Ryan Butzer (Frewsburg) had a triple and scored two runs; and Carter Skoglund (Lakewood) had a double and two runs scored.

13U TRAVEL BASEBALL

The Diamond Dawgs went 2-1 in the Maroon Division at the Pat Papale Memorial Tournament.

On Saturday morning, the Diamond Dawgs broke a 3-3 tie with a three-run fourth inning to beat the All-American Steelheads 6-3.

Collin Bragg went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and two runs scored; Rylan Cambria went 2 for 2 with a double and two runs scored; and Greyson Whitfield and Jackson Butzer each drove in a run for the Diamond Dawgs. Whitfield tossed three scoreless innings of one-hit ball with five strikeouts. Jaxson Swanson earned the win, getting the final four outs while striking out three.

On Saturday afternoon, the Diamond Dawgs beat the Salt City Commanders 10-2.

Huxley Hale went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs; Bragg doubled, drove in two runs and scored a run; Lukas Youngberg had three hits and two runs scored; Cambria had two hits, drove in a run and scored a run; Butzer had two hits, drove in a run and scored twice; and Curtis Spielman went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Bragg earned the win, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out seven in four innings.

On Sunday morning, the Diamond Dawgs fell to the Erie Outlaws 8-3.

Maxx Davis hit a two-run home run while Whitfield, Butzer, Spielman and Caden Lacki each added a hit.

FALCONER LITTLE LEAGUE

Jayce Stewart threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts while allowing a walk as Trav’s Auto beat S.T.F.D. 5-0.

Ayden Faulkner led the offense for Trav’s Auto with two hits, scoring once. Stewart added a triple and scored twice.

S.T.F.D. was completely shut down by Stewart. Other than the strikeouts, three other three outs were comebackers to Stewart, who threw to first base for the outs.

JAMESTOWN BABE RUTH

MINORS DIVISION

True Value took down Landmark 14-9.

Leading the way for True Value were Landon Conti and Ari Genco with two hits apiece. Adding to the cause also were Bryson Stone, Cam Smith, Sam Johnston and Oliver Schnars with one hit apiece.

For Landmark, Dom Robbins went 2 for 2 with a triple. Easton Tobias also added two singles.
