SALAMANCA — Salamanca High School will host an NCA cheer camp this summer, offering cheer teams the opportunity to strengthen skills, build team connections and prepare for a successful season ahead. The three-day camp will take place Aug. 27-29 at the Salamanca High School gym.
Designed specifically for team participation rather than individual registration, the camp will provide athletes with professional instruction and a high-energy experience centered around growth, leadership, and performance.
Participants will receive training in several key areas including: new crowd cheer, pom routine, stunt clinic, jump clinic and crowd engagement.
In addition to skill development, teams will have the opportunity to participate in All-American cheer team tryouts, giving athletes the chance to earn special recognition through the NCA program. Camp activities will conclude with an end-of-camp performance, allowing teams to showcase what they have learned throughout the experience.
“This camp is a great opportunity for teams to come together before the season begins,” organizers said. “Beyond developing cheer techniques and performance skills, athletes will build stronger relationships and create momentum that carries into the school year.”
Teams interested in attending should note that the June 29 registration deadline is intended only to reserve a team’s spot and provide an estimated participant count. Final team numbers may be adjusted and finalized at a later date.
Camp registration is $167 per athlete. Snacks and water will be provided; participants should bring their own lunch. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
